Job Expired

We’re looking for a writer/thinker/tone of voice person

We need someone to lead our language projects with aplomb.

 Who are we?

We’re a team of writers, trainers and psychologists based in London. We use behavioural science to shape what brands and businesses say, and build tone of voice programmes to help them say it.

So for you, this is a chance to:

  • work on interesting projects for big-name clients
  • work with fellow language geeks
  • see quantifiable results from your writing (like happier customers or time saved)
  • work with other experts in video, design and brand (because we’re part of Definition Group)

 Who are you?

  • A beautiful writer. Our standards are improbably high; anything we write should be the best thing our client’s read in ages – whether it’s about lemonade, loans or legal services.
  • A thoughtful consultant. We help companies define their ‘why’ and find their brand voice, so we need someone who’s comfortable with a little soul-searching.
  • A second pair of eyes. You’ll be overseeing other writers, so you need to be able to explain what’s working (and what isn’t) in a piece, and work with them to improve it.
  • A juggler. We’re on often working on lots of things at the same time, and we don’t have project managers (because our clients like talking to the actual people doing the work). So you’ll need to be able to manage your own time, and be flexible enough to deal with unexpected, last-minute client cries for help.
  • A bit of a networker. Aside from all of that (!), we do well when we make new friends in our clients’ business and find new problems to help them solve.

Talent’s just as important as experience.

You might not have done every single thing on the list. That’s fine; finding the right person is more important to us than ticking all the boxes (or your background). But make sure you like the sound of everything above.

What you’ll get

25 days’ holiday, and pretty flexible working.

We’ll pay a salary that matches your experience.

Is that you?

If so, please send us by Apr 30:

  • a copy of your CV
  • up to 300 words on: what’s the secret of good writing?

Send CVs to pascalle@schwa.consulting.
