BMCE Bank International is seeking a Senior HR Officer to support the London Head Office in all matters related to HR for the Paris Branch, offering guidance in all key areas of HR including policy and process. 

You will create a proactive and innovative HR function that minimises administration and adds value across the business, with oversight of all payroll related activities.


Key Responsibilities:

  • Manage all aspects of the Paris Branch HR tasks
  • Maintaining accurate records and providing management reports and data as required
  • Ensure all HR policies and procedures are up to date and reflect market trends 
  • Advise managers and provide guidance on HR policy and procedures
  • Carry out compensation and benefit benchmarking as required and make recommendations
  • Responsible full recruitment cycle for the Paris Branch, identifying and anticipating people implication on business and filling positions to management level
  • Responsible for the onboarding and offboarding
  • Coordinate the training, learning and development practices
  • Promote, Company brand, values and ethos and evolve culture
  • Talent Management: devise and maintain effective processes for recruiting, career management, identifying high potentials and succession planning
  • Performance Management: regularly review approach and practice to ensure it remains effective
  • Lead on all Employee Relation matters and apply appropriate interventions and innovations as agreed
  • Keep up to date with French employment legislation
  • Other duties as specified from time to time as directed


Skills & Experience:

  • Bilingual – fluency in written/spoken English and French is essential
  • Deep knowledge of French employment law
  • Experience in Banking or a related Financial sector is essential
  • Degree or equivalent qualification
  • Exposure to international business and geographies
  • Must be able to tolerate a high degree of ambiguity
