The Strategy Unit is leading research, analysis and change from within the NHS.
Our services are in high demand, as the NHS and its partners face significant challenges. We work with healthcare providers, commissioners, universities, charities, and government organisations. Supporting them to solve complex problems by providing evidence-informed analysis and advice.
We are expanding! We have a range of roles across our team including:

In all roles you will:
- Support the delivery of varied project assignments.
- Manage multiple tasks across multiple projects in a dynamic environment, taking responsibility for the day-to-day delivery of project outputs.

We operate as an independent consultancy but are part of the NHS, hosted by Midlands and Lancashire Commissioning Support Unit (CSU), and driven by NHS values. Our desire is to:

Our team are mostly based in the Midlands, although the majority are currently working from home. We are planning to move to a base in central Birmingham in early 2022. We are committed to providing a work environment to suit you, this means we will provide all equipment necessary for your role and provide an office space if working from home isn’t an option. Whilst it is anticipated that most staff will continue to work from home for at least some (if not most) of the working week we cannot guarantee new starters a permanent full time homeworking arrangement as business or project needs may necessitate some office attendance and we do expect to have regular team days where everyone will get together,

The interview will consist of a discussion with our panel via a virtual system (MS Teams or Zoom), as well as a test and presentation. Further details will be sent to candidates who are successful for interview.
