Head of Research, Impact & Learning

UnLtd’s 2025 strategy puts impact at the heart of our strategy, and we are looking for a Head of Research, Impact and Learning to play a key role in making that happen. We want to move social entrepreneurs from the margins to the mainstream. It will require us to amplify the voices and impact of our social entrepreneurs, working with them in an equitable and inclusive way. It will require us to deepen our work around impact and become a fully data-led organisation. It will require us to embrace failure and be curious and open to the learning opportunities it creates. Our Head of Research, Impact and Learning is a critical leadership role in enabling us to deliver this.

We are looking for someone who is technically proficient in applied research, evaluation and impact measurement, and also an exceptional leader of people. UnLtd has bold ambitions to be a truly data driven, evidence-based organisation and we are looking for someone to lead this vision.   We have an innovative, open and entrepreneurial culture and we are open to learning and improving. The role requires a leader who is open, humble and bold, and able to drive an ambitious strategy for how data, evidence and insight can transform our work, and bring people with them. The person should be collaborative, keen to learn, curious, and passionate about social change. Experience in the social enterprise world is a plus. Sitting in UnLtd’s wider leadership team, this role will work closely with other Heads of Departments, helping solve the many challenges that face any dynamic delivery organisation. You will be a vital part of a brilliant and motivated team.
