This is an exciting opportunity where reporting to and working with the Director of People and Culture, you will be responsible for defining and reinforcing an EDI strategy that ensures Refuge continues to fulfil its commitments to building and nurturing an organisation that encourages, and values equality, diversity, and inclusion in our workplace and across all aspects of our work.

This will involve engaging with stakeholders, particularly from across the People function, employee networks and the broader organisation to ensure the strategy’s key pillars underpin all activities supported by our mission, values, and behaviours.

You must have a good understanding of equality, diversity and inclusion concepts including designing and delivering EDI activities in partnership with a business. You will have Knowledge and experience of EDI legislation and policies.

You must have a willingness to continue learning to ensure understanding of current EDI needs and EDI trends. You will be able to interpret quantitative and qualitative data and communicate priorities in a clear and compelling way and measure progress.

Competitive salary offering annual progression within points of the salary grade, 28 days annual leave increasing to 30 days, pension scheme with People’s pension that includes a 6% Employer contribution, comprehensive EAP.
